Vintage Apothecary Pharmacy Needlepoint Picture Local Medical Pharmacist 1984

Vintage local pharmacy needlepoint picture. This piece comes from a pharmacy owner, with a business open from 1932-1982, in Williamston, NC. It was a gift to Dr. Davis from Elizabeth Robertson, dated 1984. The artist shows her talent with a scene that depicts a pharmacist serving a customer in an old world apothecary. Possibly a tribute to a history between the doctor and the customer. Very unique collectible for the fan of medical history and art. It has been very well kept, the colors are rich, with no yellowing. The frame measures about 15″ tall by 13″ wide, it has some scuffs and wear but is solid and the glass is intact.
